Finding Your Outfit

If you are a woman, the most critical part of your wedding is likely going to be your dress. Everybody wants to feel like a princess on their wedding day, and you can make that happen by choosing the ultimate gown that flatters you and makes you happy. You should look for a dress (or suit, depending on your gender and what you prefer), in a similar way to how you found your venue.

Search for “wedding dresses *your city*”, and go through the same process. The only difference with shopping for a wedding dress is that you can visit as many bridal shops as you like. It’s true what they say that you will know when you’ve found your dress; it could be the first one that you try on, or it could be the hundredth!

Look for a bridal shop that has an excellent reputation, and offers after-sales service, rather than just selling you the dress; providing this is in your budget, of course. A high-quality store will make size alterations every few months up until your big day. As a woman, your size can fluctuate from month to month and many women “diet” in the lead up to their wedding also.

Take friends or family with you when you dress shop; this will make the whole experience more fun, and you can also get their opinion on the different styles. The same rules primarily apply when you are shopping for a suit. Find a reputable store by looking for reviews online, and take the process from there. It’s so important that you look, and feel, like a million bucks on your wedding day.
